Hello all. Last week was so terriby hot and humid here in the midwest. We cooked on the grill every night. I made grilled fresh pineapple and peaches toped with a daub of vanilla ice cream. OMG you have gotta try it. Heres how to do it. Slice the pineapple in aprox 1/4 inch slices. Place on grill and cook until yiou get the grill marks. Flip and cook the other side. It doesnt take long, 5 minutes or so. To grill the peaches slice them in half and take out the pit. Grill the sliced side first until yiou get the grillmarks then flip and grill the skin side. Sprinkle a bit of cinnamon sugar in on the top. As the peach cooks the juices will hold in the center. I grilled them with the lid down for 5-10 minutes total. Serve with ice cream. Its peach pie without the crust!!!
