MERRY CHRISTMAS
Merry Christmas!! Im wishing you all a very happy and safe holiday. Christmas has come so fast this year. There is always so much to do. I have my baking about done and have to wrap today. My house is clean for the first time since summer (too many craft shows). I sat down and drew some bunny patterns yesterday. I havnt made anything new in a couple of weeks and Im feeling the need to get back at it. I did finish up these stockings for next year. Whatch think? Not sure how I will detail them, maybe jsut leave them plain and simple.

Vintage Santa Collection
I love old vintage Santas. I just started collecting them a few years ago. There's something aobut the jolly ole fella that I am drawn to. I like the old small santa and elf ormanents too. Heck I like it all!!! I bought the silver tree and put it in a bucket that I decorated. I made the ball ornies on the tree from paper clay and wire. Its perfect for my vintage ornies.
Prim Window
I love my Prim window. I change the topper with the season. You can make these economical. I got the window at the Mercantile Antiques ($5.00) It was a bit rickety, but a few screws fixed that. I put 3 cup hangers along the top so I can easily change the decor with the season. The wispy greenery (Hobby Lobby) is 2 sprigs hung so they make a natural curton. Old vintage bulbs hung by fishing line. LOVE It!!!
The Stockings Were Hung!
Didnt have room on the firepalce for the stockings so I hung them in the dining area on another peg board I have made. The board is an old level (dumpster find) that I put Antique Repo. nails on for hangers. My mice hang out all over the house year round. Funny since I have "handmade" mice about I havnt seen any "real" mice.
Fireplace
My kids love this lighted and moving Mr and Mrs Clause. They are not really my prim style but they have sentimental value. I have had them for years. The top of the fireplace has a set of angels the kids made in preschool. We put them out every year. My stocking is from Kelly in a swap at Swap it. The tree on the right is a favorite from my friend Sandra at the Howling Hag.
My Prim Tree
Mouse Ornies
Now where should we put tht ornie.
Less than a week before xmas. Looks like we will have a white xmas here in central Illinois. We have had a foot of snow already and it hasnt been above freezing in weeks. Brrr.... Im sharing a few pics of my favorite things about our house. I love prim but not all my family does so I put up my own little prim tree. I enjoyed watching the kids decorate our big tree. Its full of ornaments with centamental value to them. Lots of paper ornaments they made in early years and their own specific ornaments. Guess they have been making memories.
